I really love the video!

I think Gino did an excellent job--although, it seems like your slide show of this is more clearer and had different angles that I liked. The YouTube isn't as sharp as what you guys have, but it's still a very good video, and I thought the band behind Gino was great. I watched the "Measure of a Man" live video on YouTube (Gino was on Raymond's show, I think) and that wasn't very clear either. THANKS for putting it on your site so we can view it.

I would maybe have done a couple things different........... Maybe had a shot or two of Gino playing the keyboard mixed in with the other flashes of the band. Then some of him busting some moves on the dance floor with the girls instead of sitting on the edge of the stage for so long. It doesn't show what great shape he is in. I don't mean physically, as much as athletic. If that makes sense? Also the jury is still out on the coat, love the jacket though!!

Hope I didn't come off sounding too critical!!! Just wanted to see more of Gino in action!! But I understand how he was sort of a narrator for the scene. I love the way the color of the girls dresses (red and purple) contrast against the dark and shadowy images too. The "she" subject is also very exotic looking, very pretty, good choice!! TS

EXCUSE ME for the quality!! but there's a reason because I've done it ..
when I've seen it on youtube I said to myself: It could be a good thing to know for many fans, especially for the Italian fans, because it almost impossible to find and see the video in Italy !!! ( for example: if you click on the "Mtv Italia " website and if you write the words GINO VANNELLI - on " cerca" ("search" in English ) the result is... nothing !!.. nothin about him ...no cd... no biography ect.. I was and I'm really stunned but it's so !!)
...and excuse me one more time because I haven't noticed it in your website !!

But I have to tell you one more thing: I know there are many and many fans of Gino in Italy but I don't know why, currently, if you go ( or write ) in many record stores ( also big stores ! ) you really can't find almost nothing about him !! In fact I've ordered his new cd from a record shop in Rome that you have also posted the link in your site ( CDBOX ) ...believe me, until about 10 days ago even in Milan ( in the great music stores ) it was impossible to find it .. not only the new cd but everything about him!!! ( a friend of mine was there ! ). ( but I know until some week ago the Italian manger of Gino was negotianting with some Italian distributors... ) I don't konw why Gino's music is so ill-treated !!

wow!! well, i LOVE the song!!!!
gino certainly looks hot and the video is fabulous of him. i didn't quite get the video even though i do understand the song. there were lots of "sexy young thangs" dancing in the background (probably to appeal to a younger audience) zesty for men esp. his son's age group. so i hear you on the age thing and can relate to the feelings. i do think it was tastefully done though and being a male, gino surely enjoyed making the video. haha!!

i didn't like the couple of shots of women with vampire teeth. what was with that??? moon over madness??? i could envision a beautiful video of him singing gypsy days with flashback footage of his younger years up to present day esp. since the look of fashion, hair, etc. is back from the 70's. it's one of my favorite songs along with night drive. so, what does gino think of the video???

It is a VERY addicting song, for sure.

I used to wake up to Live in Montreal's "Where Am I Going?" (how appropriate for the morning) but now I wake up to "Evermore" and then listen to "Measure of a Man" before I slowly crawl out of bed. It gets me in the mood to dance into the day. Have a great day! Kara M.

I check if often and enjoy all the updates you provide.
That is how I knew to order Gino's new CD and poetry book.
I am still waiting for it anxiously. I ordered it on February 21st and I am still waiting. Hopefully I am one of those that got stuck on the back order list when they ran out and had to re-order.

As far as the you tube video, I agree it is not the best quality but how wonderful to have it to watch anyways. Any opportunity to watch him sing is great. I just wish there were more DVD;s out there that we could purchase. I bought the two they have on the ginov.com web site but would love more.

You both to wonderful work and please know how grateful all Gino fans are for your efforts.

I just love it !!!! Gino looks and sounds FANTASTIC !!!!
I first saw it on youtube before checking here (Ha...I usually NEVER do that !!!! You are always first...LOL)....On my computer it was VERY clear, although there is another one posted on the percussion players youtube page, which isn't as clear.....The video was well worth the wait, and I have been spreading the word about it and the cd and directing people to go to your site to purchase it. Many of my friends have, and had no problems at all.

Some people have told me that they are going to wait because they think it will be released in the USA, but I just tell them that it is best just to go to your page, why wait !?? It may never be released here and we need to get the sales up and support Gino. I paid $28.00 US dollars total and I have seen that people on ebay are selling it for $34.00 US dollars. Why anyone would want to make money off of Gino, I have no idea, it was somebody from the Netherlands who is selling them. I can't believe people do that....Anyway, that Italian maestro, whew, he just gets better and better...Great Job Gino, all my "Gino friends "LOVE IT!!!!

So great to see the new video. What an awesome song! I haven't ordered my cd yet, I was hoping to buy it here in the states. Kathy told me the other day somenthing about it not being released in the US. Do you know if there is any truth to that?

I've been going through kind of a tough time here with business the way it is. I'm moving in with a friend of mine up in Oklahoma next week. Oh, and btw I'm moving in with my friend who went with us the first time Gino played in New Orleans. So at least I'll be around another Gino fan for once.

Well, I did give my honest opinion. I watched the second video at least 5 times now and the quality is better.

I have been bothered by some of the amateur videos of Gino and the band that has been put on U-tube the past few years. Maybe from illegal tapings and cell phones. The sound isn't very good and anyone who has been to the shows know what top quality Gino's voice is and how great his bands are.

For those who wonder when the new cd will be in the states for purchase??. Why wait...you may wait longer than you want. The new cd and poems are worth every dollar!!!! We are fortunate to be able to order from Europe and have it shipped to the states. The exchange rate on the Euro is better now than it has been in months.

I think the video is really really cool but some of my friends (remember Arnaud?) think it's great. The youtube quality is really not that bad actually.... the only thing you should totally avoid in youtube is reading the comments hahaha.... But the main thing is the song from Gino and this is a great one ..... love it! Gino is on top of it (as usual) .... The background vocalists sounds so good and there is a great energy, very simple and straightforward production but so efficient overall.... sound so much like Gino melodically.... hope the rest of the album is of this very high standard ......should know it soon. Thank you so much for posting that great moment of music ....

Gino komt heel goed over in de clip, vooral in die lange jas (zou Barend ook zo goed staan, haha)

Ik vraag me alleen af waarom er in de clip anderen muzikanten spelen, niet dat het slecht overkomt hoor, maar het had mij wel leuk geleken als de jongens van de Dutch band, waar Gino mee optreed er ook in mee hadden gedaan.
Ben benieuwd wanneer het op de tv wordt uitgezonden......

Well, I love it and I hate it. I absolutely love the song.
I can't get it out of my mind. I've watched the video at least a dozen times since Thursday.
Gino is as gorgeous as ever. I love his expressions when he's singing the song as if he was revisiting the experience over and over. I also love the different shots of him while he continues to sing the song.

I don't like the shots of the dancers. They are weird. The young people are great they make us feel younger. BRAVO Gino! Once again an exuberating experience. Hope to see you soon in the Western USA.

Thanks for posting the Gino Vannelli video clip on your site!!!!
Any video is great but especially a professionally made video of Gino is well worth the wait! The song is great, the dancers and back up vocals are perfect and Gino's mannerisms during the video are spot on.

I wish he'd do one for every song on the CD! When you can't see him in concert often, the videos are a great way to get a reminder of how important going to the shows are. He just gets better and I'd love to hear him recite the poems too. Maybe a concert that featured both will be in the works.

I am hoping for more dates in the States and watching the sites for information. We miss him on this side of the pond. I am in need of a Gino fix and hope he does some concerts closer to home.
