Hoi Barend & Trees.
Het was weer een speciale avond, Gino trad op in Tivoli en als echte Utrechtenaren konden we die kans niet voorbij laten gaan.
De zaal was stampvol maar gelukkig hadden mijn zus en ik een mooie plek vooraan bij het podium zodat we er goed van konden genieten.......en dat hebben we gedaan !!!
Gino gaf weer een spetterend optreden en zag er trouwens weer geweldig uit !! (ja, mannen hoe krijgt hij het toch voor elkaar....haha)
Buiten de oudere nummers om zong Gino van de nieuwe cd, A Good Thing, The DutchBeat en zoals ik al had gehoopt The Measure of a Man...wauw, wat een heerlijk nummer!!! Hoe vaker je het hoort hoe beter het wordt.
Ook nog heel verrassend dat we deze avond Canto te horen kregen, dat blijft toch altijd zo mooi.
Helaas was het voor ons gevoel weer veel te snel afgelopen, maar niet getreurd ...we hebben nog heel veel mooie dingen in het vooruitzicht.
Na afloop signeerde Gino nog posters van de nieuwe cd A Good Thing, ondanks de drukte daar konden we toch nog even Gino gedag zeggen.
En wie zagen we later nog toen we naar buiten gingen???......Jazeker, Trees en Gino die stonden te wachten op hun chauffeur Barend.....Leuk dat we elkaar toch nog even konden zien !!!
Tot heel gauw maar weer !!!!

Hi Barend & Trees.
Again it was a very special evening, Gino performed in Tivoli and us real and true people from Utrecht could not let this chance go. The concert-hall was packed and very crowded but thank God my Sister and Me had a great spot in the front row so we could enjoy this concert intense and deep....And that's what we did !!!
Gino gave us a stunning performance en His looks were fantastic as usual !! (Oh well, men how does He do it...haha)
Except for the older songs Gino sang new songs from His new album like A Good Thing, The DutchBeat and also my biggest desire to hear: The Measure of a Man...wow, what a delighful song!!! The more you hear it the more you like it!!! And it grows better and better...
Another BIG surprise was CANTO. This song stays so beautiful. It was a pity again that the show went so very fast and the end was there too soon. But no sadness we still have so many beautiful Gino things to look forward to.
After the show Gino signed posters of the new cd-book A GOOD THING, and in spite of the crowd we still could say hello to Gino.
Guess who we saw when we walked out of Tivoli??? Yes, Trees and Gino they were waiting for their Chauffer Barend and limousine...Great fun that we still could see eachother for a moment!!!

Hello, I try in English. What a night! GINO VANNELLI in Utrecht, unbelievable... The sound was not that good and much, much better in The Hague but in Utrecht I shaked hands with Gino!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He played BROTHER TO BROTHER - WOW!!!!!!!! What a voice...unbelievable... I have enjoyed Gino's performance so much... What a music and the Dutch musicians were great!!! The Dutch Guitar player, I think his name is Erik rocked!!! I was shocked to hear CANTO but respect!!!! LOVE Walkin the DutchBeat...... And the song I just wanna stop which I do not like that much was fun.......... PEOPLE GOTTA MOVE swings already for 35 years when Powerful People was released in Holland in 1976 i think my heart turned into Gino Vannelli's music!!! Thanks B&T and THANKS GINO!!! Marc.

Saw Gino in Utrecht and twice in The Hague (Den Haag) I am still in heaven like more people write on this website. Was in Tivoli and HET PAARD VAN TROJE... His voice is so beautiful and he knows how to make us cry of happyness. hope to go to Zoetermeer too on March 22. I need to see Him again and hear Him live on stage. When you go once to a GINO VANNELLI live concert you want to go more and more it's like an addiction, sorry but true. Thanks to Gino for being so kind to me at the Bijenkorf signing. Two slideshows with about 22 pictures each are made here on a seperate new web page with pictures of the crew, musicians and GINO VANNELLI during the soundcheck and also pictures from the very busy meet and greet signing session after the most super kicking GINO VANNELLI live concert!!! The Hague/Den Haag the Dutch government city and the hometown of our Queen was overwhelmed by the sound of GINO VANNELLI!!! The venue "HET PAARD VAN TROJE" in English something like Trojan Horse was shaking and trembling because of the GINO VANNELLI Music and VOICE and totally silent during CANTO which went into a super rocking wild BROTHER TO BROTHER... So amazing and sooooo VANNELLI quality!!!top

Hier weer even een review van mij over het concert dat Gino vrijdagavond gaf in het Paard van Troje in Den Haag
Hij was geweldig op dreef, vertelde tussendoor leuke anekdotes en ook band speelde erg goed.
Jammer dat een deel van het publiek praten en vooral drinken belangrijker vindt dan te luisteren naar de muziek van Gino;
want daar kom je toch voor? Jammer, jammer!! Ik zou tegen die mensen willen zeggen blijf de volgende keer lekker weg!
Gelukkig deed hij People gotta move weer in de oude versie en Wild Horses klonk heel anders maar ook weer zeer apart.
Ik zou dolgraag willen dat hij Persona non grata wat vaker zou zingen……Blijft mijn alltime favourite van Gino.
Ik verheug me ontzettend op de komst van zijn nieuwe cd en blijf mij vooral verwonderen over het feit dat van deze man
geen DVD is/wordt gemaakt. Ik heb wel de opnamen met het Metropool op DVD maar dat is Oudhollands tapewerk van thuis.
Voor de rest weer genoten en op naar Zoetermeer 22 maart als Gino weer langskomt. Gino je was weer geweldige en hebt
mij en een vriend weer geweldige avond gegeven!

Here is a review from me about Gino Vannelli's concert in HET PAARD VAN TROJE/TROJAN HORSE last Fridayevening in The Hague
He was in good brilliant form and He told funny stories in between the songs and the band was very good too and played very well.
Such a pity that a part of the audience thought that talking and drinking was more important than listening to Gino's music;
because that's why we are there? isn't it???
Shame..... shame on that part of the audience!! I like to say to those people please stay away next time!
I was so happy that He did the old version of PEOPLE GOTTA MOVE and Wild Horses was completely different but again very special. I wish very much that He would sing Persona non Grata more often because it's my most favourite Gino song of all times.
I am really looking forward to His new cd and till today I cannot believe that there is no DVD of this Man and His Music. I have recordings with images of Gino and the Metropole Orchestra on DVD but that's real Dutch non-professional homy tape work which I made at home. I deeply enjoyed the rest of the concert and way to go to 22 March 2009 in Zoetermeer when Gino comes by again. Gino you were GREAT again and you gave my friend and me a fantastic evening again!

HET PAARD VAN TROJE/TROJAN HORSE is a fantastic venue except for the bar in the concert-hall, we agree with Loek about the annoying talking, phoning and drinking people in the concert-hall. Those people have no respect at all for the Singer and His musicians, you can see and feel the difference with the first rows of people and the rows closest to the bar. But close to the bar there are also the Gino Vannelli music-lovers in between the talking drinkers and you can see their faces and how they try to get into the front.......... Anyways,
the air in The Hague was good in general and the true music-lovers were way into Gino's music, the sound was fantastic better than in Utrecht for sure and Gino's voice was incredible and totally a tear-puller, Gino's voice was so good that editor T got real impressed again and got real emotional. When we think about all the work Gino does and that's not normal for a human being, all the difficult things, finishing the final little things on the new cd-book and writing the last pieces inside poems, the bad sleeping, jet lag and a million other problems, interviews, radioshows, musicians and other important people... that's real madness with a lot of stress and than live on stage with a voice so clear, so good and so divine...
The willingness and the devotion to His life's work and HE always want to please His audience with the best sound and the best of Himself is so breathtaking and impressive and knowing that He does everything Himself like writing the music, writing the lyrics all the technical things in the studio from nothing to a song like "Walkin the DutchBeat" makes a big lump in one's throat and that creates tears........... The DutchBeat sounded so fantastic and the band, 8 Musicians, were mighty phenomenal, Erik Rutjes the guitar-player gave solo's which were incredible good......
A GOOD THING: Superb! and WILD HORSES in a too cool version! FROM THIS DAY ON love the way Gino sings: "I am FREEEEE...." Hurts to Be in Love came with an ohhhh sound of recognition in the audience. Than Canto, no need to say nothing only WOW!!! A duo with Karel Boehlee the piano player and Karel played whole-hearted and in the waves of the Gino Vannelli CANTO voice which sounded so out of this world, the things HE can create with His voice is just so excellent and beyond description... We Listened with fast pumping hearts and open mouths... CANTO went over into a very wild BROTHER TO BROTHER which made the audience super wild! Walkin' the Dutchbeat swings "I said my... oh my, The moon and the stars shine on... live is beautiful..." Gino sings this line very straight from His heart with a Gino Vannelli smoothness that these words keep on swinging in your mind for days and days.... The levels in music in this DutchBeat song are so unique and in harmony with the rhythm and with Gino Vannelli's voice, very difficult song to sing for Gino but He does it like it's so easy... And still with those emotions and that face with those eyes. RESPECT!!! "All the time in the world not a moment to waste...." GREAT NAUGHTY SONG which we will enjoy forever!!
Super good musicians in the band and a very enthusiastic percussionist and backing vocal singer named: Eddy Conard with this powerful drummer: Stephane Huchard and the bass of Theo de Jong made the difference in PEOPLE GOTTA MOVE... And we thought people went wild with BROTHER TO BROTHER You should have been there when the old version of PEOPLE GOTTA MOVE started than we said my, oh my....
The Brass adds quality and more depth to Gino Vannelli's songs and music. Rolf Delfos on Saxophone,
Angelo Verploegen on trumpet,
Ron Oligschlaeger on trombone or
Ilja Reyngoud on trombone, these guys are the top musicians in Holland. Always such good feelings when we see and hear them play with Gino...
T made pictures during the signing session and what a crazyness after such a powerful concert. We hope you can imagine how hard this is for Gino and that He still comes out while trying to save His voice for the next day because there are more events coming up like Paradiso and de Oosterpoort, radioshows and interviews and let's not forget the Saterday evening tv show "Raymann is Laat!" on the 14th of February 2009... with a million viewers... THANKS TO THE BEST LIVE SINGER ON THIS PLANET AND BEYOND and also thanks to these great musicians Eddy, Stephane, Theo, Erik Rolf, Angelo, Ilja & Ron for playing GINO VANNELLI's that good and with that devotion. Hoi Barend en Trees,
Even een eerste reactie...Wat een waaaaaaaazinnig concert. Het geluid was zoveel beter dan in Utrecht! Gino is vast met een tevreden gevoel naar huis gegaan.
Ik wist eigenlijk al dat dit een perfect concert zou worden, aangezien het geluid wat minder was in Utrecht..... en voor minder doet Gino het niet!
SUPER, SUPER, SUPER!!!!! Het publiek was ook te gek! Dat leverde zelfs een niet voorbereidde extra toegift op!
Trees, we hebben je een tijd niet gezien, alleen in flits. Je ben zo druk met Gino's persoonlijke verzorging....haha. Gelukkig hebben we Barend wel gezien!
Het was ook weer leuk met de ander fans.
Heb nog wat foto's maar die zijn niet zo geweldig dat cameraatje van mij trekt het niet met die lampen en die rook. Carlos heeft nog wel wat foto's van na het concert, die zijn wel aardig gelukt.
Nou de mooiste foto's zijn uiteraard die van jullie zelf en die van Ron en volgens mij had Wil ook nog wel een paar goede....
Ik schrijf nog wel een stukje hoor! Voorlopig hebben jullie toch geen tijd om de website bij te werken.....Volgende week weer Groningen! Wij zijn weer van de partij in Zoetemeer!
Ik wens jullie heel veel succes met alles , Mega druk maar superleuk toch!!!!

Hi Barend and Trees,
Well, a quick first reaction....What a TOOOO COOOOOL concert. The sound was so much better than in Utrecht! We are sure Gino went home with good feelings. I already knew that this should become a perfect concert, because the sound in Utrecht was not that good..... And Gino does not work for less, less good sounds!!!
SUPER, SUPER, SUPER!!!!! The audience was great too! We even got an extra, extra non prepared encore! WOW!
Trees, we did not see you for a while, only in a flash. We know you are too bust with Gino's personal care... hahaha. Luckely we saw Barend! It was fun with all fans.
I have still some pictures but these pictures are not that good because my camera cannot handle the the lights and all the smoke. Carlos has a few picture from after the concert, those are pretty good and fun. Well the most beautiful pictures are from yourselves and from Ron and I think Wil had a few good ones too.
I will write another piece for sure but you two have not enough time to work on the web site at the moment......Next week Groningen! We are present again in Zoetermeer! I wish you both lots of success and good luck with everything, super busy but super fun isn't it!!!???

Lieve Barend en trees,
Maakt niet uit hoor, jullie kunnen niet altijd iedereen spreken.
En dat verwacht ik ook helemaal niet.
Gisteravond was helemaal top, echt genoten van het geheel, wat een performance !!
Utrecht was ook erg goed maar Amsterdam was toch veel beter, ander publiek, geluid was in Utrecht niet helemaal top.
Wel jammer dat Annenel en ik gisteravond iets te vroeg weggingen ik had niet meer gedacht dat Gino zou komen.
Volgende keer beter.
Ook waren er heel veel oude fans die al jaaaaaren fan waren, ik heb gekeken naar al die gezichten die en dat was erg mooi om te zien.
Weten jullie wie de nieuwe Gino vannelli hyve beheerd ? Het is net of Gino dit zelf doet ??????
Deze site is vanaf vorige week in de lucht ??

Yesterday evening was really TOP, really, really enjoyed the whole thing, what a performance !!
Utrecht was very good too but Amsterdam was much much better. Different audience and the sound in Utrecht was not that good.
It's a pity that
Annenel and I went home too early yesterday evening I thought Gino already left the building.
Better and more luck next time.
There were many old fans people who are fan for many, many years, I watched all their faces and that that was really fun and nice to see.
Do you know who manages the new Gino Vannelli Hyve ? It seems like Gino does that Himself ??????

WAUW...........wat een geweldige foto’s.....Daar zal Roy ook blij mee zijn, hij was gisteren zo vol van het optreden en dat hij ook nog bij Gino was geweest vond hij fantastisch, hij raakte er maar niet over uitgepraat, ik heb echt dubbel genoten, van het optreden van Gino en van Roy !!!! Hij kijkt nu al uit naar Zoetermeer dan wilt hij ook weer meegaan, kicken hoor.
En wat was Gino geweldig hé?

WOW..........what a great pictures.....My Son Roy will be very happy with your pictures, He was so enthusiastic yesterday about Gino's performance and that He could go to Gino after the concert was the absolute TOP! Fantastic! He could not stop talking about it. I really, really double enjoyed everything, Gino's performance and also my Son Roy !!!! He is looking forward to Zoetermeer already. He wants to go there too. Big kick for me.
And don't you think that Gino was absolutely excellent again?

Nederlands/Dutch: Nog een leuke e-mail van Wil & Rob Spelbos uit Utrecht, Holland d.d. Maandag 9 Februari 2009 met het onderwerp: Superconcert van Gino in Paradiso!!!!!!
Hoi Barend & Trees.
Het is inmiddels de dag na het optreden van Gino in Paradiso......geslapen?......nee dat heb ik niet echt, het optreden kwam de hele nacht weer voorbij.
Ook al had ik afgelopen donderdag het optreden van Gino in Tivoli al meegemaakt dit concert in Amsterdam was toch weer nog indrukwekkend. Elke keer denken we dat het niet beter kan worden maar Gino blijft zichzelf overtreffen.
Het geluid vond ikzelf stukken beter dan in Utrecht en Gino straalde vanaf alle kanten, wij hadden het idee dat hij er echt lol in had.
Ook de muzikanten van de band deden het geweldig !!!
De oude en nieuwe nummers kwamen weer allemaal voorbij........wauw, wat was het swingen !!!!! De nieuwe cd-single The Measure of a Man was ook nu weer geweldig, het kan toch haast niet anders dan dat dit een hit moet worden....
Gelukkig was het publiek enorm enthousiast en was Gino zo aardig om dit keer zelfs 2 toegiften te geven !!!
Voor mijzelf was het deze avond dubbel genieten, want voor het eerst was mijn zoon meegegaan, die al vanaf zijn 3e jaar luistert naar Gino’s muziek (hoe kan het ook anders met zo’n moeder als Gino fan) En hij vond het geweldig......en volgende keer wilt hij zelfs weer mee.
Super, misschien nog een fan bij de club erbij.
Nou Barend & Trees, dat was het weer zo’n beetje, leuk dat we ondanks de drukte toch nog met jullie hebben kunnen bijpraten, succes met al het werk op jullie site en groetjes aan jullie “broertje”.....
Gino nogmaals bedankt voor dit (alweer) onvergetelijke optreden !!!!!

In the meantime it's the day after Gino's performance at Paradiso.......did you sleep?.......No, not really, the whole performance kept on going in my mind. Lucky me, I already lived through the last Thursday concert at Tivoli but this concert in Amsterdam was much more impressive though. Everytime we think it cannot get better anymore but everytime Gino tops everything again and again. I liked the sound in Amsterdam much more and Gino had this glow and shined in every way. We all thought that He really had it and also had fun, true fun.
Also the musicians of the band played great !!!
The old and also the new songs came along again........wow, It swinged like crazy !!!!!! The new cd-single The Measure of a Man was fantastic again, there is almost no other way, this song must become a hit........
Thank God that the audience was so enthusiastic and Gino was so kind to come back twice, two encores !!! For me it was all double enjoyment, because my Son was with me for the very first time, he already heard Gino's music from his third year (There was no other way with a Mom like me, a true Gino fan) And he loved it........ He even wanna go again the next time.
Super, maybe another fan joins the club. Well, Barend and Trees this was it, very nice that we could talk to you in spite of the madness and the busyness. Good luck with all the work on your site and greetings to your "little brother"......

Ten eerste wil ik zeggen dat ik het erg leuk vond om jullie te ontmoeten bij het concert in Paradiso, het was echt een heel tof concert. Ik heb samen met mn moeder (Wil Spelbos) een topavond gehad! Ik heb even een stukje geschreven voor op de site, hieronder komt ie:
Het concert in Paradiso was echt geweldig!
Het was de eerste keer dat ik bij een concert van Gino Vannelli ben geweest en het is zeker niet de laaste, ik heb al kaarten gekocht voor het concert in Zoetermeer. Vooral Brother to Brother vond ik erg mooi en swingend. Ik vond het ook erg tof dat na afloop de fans kennis konden maken met Gino en dat hij handtekeningen uitdeelde. Het was een geweldige avond in Paradiso!
Gino ga vooral door met mooie muziek maken!

This was the very first time I came to a Gino Vannelli concert and you can be sure this was not the last one. I already bought tickets for the concert in Zoetermeer. Especially Brother To Brother was very beautiful and swinging. I also thought it was so cool that the fans could meet Gino and that He signed stuff for the fans. It was a fantastic evening in Paradiso!

It's March 2009 now and we cannot see the Gino Vannelli clip nomore at Raymann's web site so that leaves us at YouTube again, not that good quality but better this than nothing!
It took only 2 takes, take 1 and take 2 and everybody was very happy with Gino Vannelli's performance, great musicians and the whole clip was awesome! Go there to see for yourself and ENJOY! The hospitality and atmosphere in this studio was fantastic.

Wat een geweldige dag was het gisteren weer! Eindelijk was daar Gino's nieuwe album "A Good Thing" We hadden op het laatste nippertje besloten om het album in toch in de Bijenkorf in Den Haag, uit handen van de meester zelf te ontvangen. Toch kon ik het niet laten om de 13e even bij de platenzaak te informeren. Ze hadden het album nog niet binnen. Eigenlijk was ik daar blij mee want anders had ik het vast al gekocht.....
Bij de Bijenkorf aangekomen hadden een aantal van de andere fans ook beloten om naar Den Haag te komen. Leuk! Marian en ik waren net klaar bij de kassa toen jullie en Gino er aan kwamen! Wij zwaaien! Uiteraard zwaaiden jullie terug en Gino ook! We zijn gauw weer in de rij gaan staan en hadden het erover hoe blij we toch zijn met Gino's en zijn muziek en de gebeurtenissen van de laatste tijd....
Gelukkig hebben we jullie ook weer eens gesproken! Toen ik aan de beurt was vroeg Gino hoe mijn naam ook al weer gespeld werd. Ik zei D... en toen wist hij de rest zelf weer!
Daarna nog even op de foto! Gino zei nog tegen mij dat ik een "nice jacket" aan had. Nou toen kon mijn dag helemaal niet meer stuk! haha...
Helaas werden er geen gedichten voorgelezen maar dat dachten we al. Het was nou niet bepaald een geschikte plek daarvoor. En als Gino denkt dat het zo niet goed over zal komen, dan doet hij het niet en gelijk heeft hij!
Na afscheid te hebben genomen gingen we opgewekt de stad in. Wat wordt je toch steeds weer blij van dit soort momenten! Daar kan geen Prozac tegenop! haha.
Het was lekker weer en ik ben gek op winkelen maar dit keer brandde er een cd in mijn tas die beluisterd moest worden....
Op terugweg gelijk de cd opgezet.
Helemaal geweldig! Je hoort het er echt aan af dat hier héél veel zorg en tijd aan besteed is! En de teksten zijn soms grappig en dan weer ontroerend...Ik moet zeggen dat "Measure Of A Man" niet gelijk bij mij aansloeg tijdens de concerten. Maar ik heb het nummer nu een paar keer gehoord, gisteren ook nog Bij Raymann en ik vind het nu wel lekker klinken!
Thuis aan gekomen moesten we nog wat boodschappen doen. Tijdens het boodschappen doen zong ik steeds een stukje van "This Day On" en "The Dutchbeat"
Ja...dat is er maar één die dat voor elkaar krijgt om mij hardop te laten zingen in de Appie en dat is Gino!
Ik heb ook een paar van de gedichten gelezen. Ze zijn best moeilijk als je alleen maar huis, tuin en keuken Engels kunt. Ik snap de essentie wel, maar ik wil het helemaal begrijpen. Dus daar ga ik nog een studie van maken.(als ik tijd heb)
Ik hoop echt dat dit album een succes gaat worden! Dat de mensen nu eens oor voor kwaliteit zullen hebben....
Wij zijn er in ieder geval super blij mee!

What a great day again, yesterday! At last there is Gino's new album "A GOOD THING" At the last minute we decided to go to the Bijenkorf in The Hague and receive the new album from the hands of the Master Himself. However I could not resist to inform in the local recordstore on Friday the 13th and they did not have it yet that Friday. Afterall I am very happy because when they had in the local store I already bought it for sure........
We arrived at the Bijenkorf and there were already the other hard-core fans, they also decided to come to The Hague. FUN! Marian and me were just ready to pay for the album at the register when you two and Gino walked in. We waved and of course you waved back to us AND GINO TOO! We ran back into the row of people and talked about how happy we are at the moment with all the Gino events and His music and everything what is happening lately....
Nice, very nice that we could talk to you again! When it was my turn Gino asked me how to spell my name again? I said D... and than He knew the rest Himself! After this a picture! And Gino said to me: "A very nice jacket!" Oh my goodness what a day. Gino made my day with this nice remark or compliment! hahaha...
It was a pity that there was no poems recital but we already expected this because this was not the place for such a performance. And when Gino feels that it is wrong or feels bad to recite poems, He will not do it for sure and He is so right! We agreed totally!
After saying goodbye we went into town, downtow The Hague in a very happy mood. We get so happy after these special moments! It knocks prozac OFF!!! Hahahaha.
It was such nice weather and I love shopping but this time there was fire in my purse not real flames but a cd which needed to be played and I had to listen to.... On the way back we immediately played the cd in our car. Super fantastic! You can really hear that Gino spend a lot of time and care to make it perfect! Sometimes the lyrics are moving and touching but also funny...I have to confess that "The Measure of a Man" did not hit me immediately during the concerts but now when I listen more and more, yesterday I heard it at Raymann, it sounds better and more fun!
When we arrived at home we had to run some errands. And during the shopping and running for errands I sang parts of "This Day On" and "The DutchBeat" Yessss...there is only one person who can do that with me, I mean sing out loud in the "Appie" (Albert Heijn supermarmet

I also read a few poems. They are really difficult when you only know the standard school English. I can understand the essential part, but I want to understand it completely. So I am going to learn and study the poems. (When I can find the time)
I really hope that this album will become a great success! And that the people will get big ears for quality....
In our case is our state of mind VERY HAPPY and we are super glad with the new album!

There are 2 slideshows connected now! Each with 16 pictures in the most weirdest lighted concert-hall from deep dark to cristal bright and with the most strange colors so this are not the best pictures but still the only pictures we got. Only pictures about the rehearsal and the soundcheck... We never ever take pictures during a concert because we want to enjoy Gino Vannelli's music and voice every second He opens His mouth and throat, we feel it's a waste of time to worry us about taking pictures but hey that's us! We are alsways thankful to people who still e-mail or mail us pictures for our GINO VANNELLI fan web site!

Thanks so much!!!... they closed up everything as soon as we went out so there didn't seem to be any way to come back and say hello.
Nonetheless, stellar!!! and the girlfriend and musician friends who came concurred wholeheartedly.
First off, your voice is always a huge breath of fresh air to hear in an age where singer's singers don't seem to be coming up anymore. A thing of beauty. And the band was killing, I know Karel already, LOVE his playing
(Bill Evans meets Oscar meets Herbie) he played on a track for my harmonica CD project I'm working on now. But everyone was really outstanding, so your perseverance in finding the right band truly payed off.
And the new songs, GREAT, your arrangements, FANTASTIC... just a great show, and I almost never say that anymore after a concert.
Anyway, thanks again, and hopefully we will cross paths again soon in this adopted country of ours (lovely observations you made last night)

We vonden het erg leuk om kennis met jullie te maken in Groningen.
De muziek van Gino Vannelli is al sinds 30 jaar in ons leven, we zijn begonnen met de LP's Crazy Life, Gist of the gemini en Powerful people. Welke andere muziek verder ook gekocht werd, Gino bleef altijd de boventoon spelen. Het concert was werkelijk geweldig om mee te maken, zalige muziek en Gino's fantastische stem en de goede rustige sfeer in de Oosterpoort! Zeker bij CANTO... WOW!!! Dit smaakt natuurlijk naar meer en behalve de cd's die we graag willen kopen om aan de collectie toe te voegen, zullen we zeker weer van de partij zijn bij het volgende concert!!

We were very happy to meet you two in Groningen. Gino Vannelli's music is already for more than 30 years in our lives, we started with the LP's Crazy Life, The Gist of the Gemini and Powerful People. In spite of other music we bought in those days Gino always stayed on top of our list. The concert was really great and to be there was fantastic, delightful music and Gino's superb voice and the good, relaxed atmosphere in The Oosterpoort was out of this world especially during CANTO... WOW!!! Now we need more and we also want to buy cd's to add to our collection, we will be present at the next concert for sure!!

Wat leuk dat jullie de achtergrond van onze foto van de poster van Tivoli hebben gebruikt voor pagina 8......En Gino’s naam komt hier (nu als enigste, haha) wel heel mooi op uit !!
Het wordt nu wel heel spannend allemaal met het uitkomen van de cd en de optredens die gaan komen......zou Gino ook de kriebels hebben??
Weten jullie soms als de cd inderdaad op 8 februari uitkomt of die dan ook verkocht gaat worden de avond in Paradiso, dan vind ik het wel leuk om hem daar te kopen..........
Succes met de site en met Gino (kunnen jullie het nog allemaal bolwerken ???)

It's getting very exciting now with the release of the new cd and all the up coming concerts...... Do you think Gino gets it on His nerves too???
Do you know if the cd really will be released on February the 8th and will they sell it that evening in Paradiso, because I like to buy Gino's new cd at Paradiso when it's released of course! Good Luck with your site and with Gino (Can you two keep up with everything ???)
