Hello Barend and Trees,
I got to drive around with a nice guy named Joumber who I met at the show. He wanted to show me Moscow as the Muscovites live it. I met his 4 year old daughter and we went to a composers apartment. His name is Gabil. His wife is Galia. They really loved the show and made copies of cd’s for me and were so friendly. The Kremlin was wonderful to see also.
I am in a daze now as my time clock is all turned around. It was fantastic to see you both as always. Although way too short.
Thanks for your well wishes along the way and your constant support and love. Ours goes back to you and I’m thankful as always for our friendship. An e-mail from Gino Vannelli's manager dated 12 February 2004 :
It was just wonderful seeing the both of you again. I just love your positive energy. As you probably know Gino went on to five sold out shows in Russia. One show had 2500 adoring fans. Looking forward to sharing the news of many of the great dates and events ahead as this year unfolds. Hello my Friends from Holland!!! Thank you to finishing this web-page, it looks fine. I don't see any mistakes or errors. As for Gino's show, he sang many songs from "Canto", using by it a russian strings-quartet. "Brother to brother" was the last song of the show, where the audience screemed and sang this wonderful song together with Gino with big applause. "I just wanna stop" was in the new jazz-arrangement, as good as before.
As for me, I like all Gino' songs, and that's why i'm a Gino's fan. But most of all, I like to hear his "Appaloosa", "Love of my life", "JACK MIRACULOUS", "Stay with me", "Brother to brother", "Where am I going", "Black and blue".
Thank you once again and best greetings from Russia.
