22 - 30 April 2008:
The Gino Vannelli Helmond web page: Added new links, pictures, slide show, e-mails, reactions, media and more and we translated all the Dutch words into the English language as good as we possibly can, there is always a big possibility that we do not translate it the right way and there always will be a language conflict. We receive e-mails now about the word controlfreak and we use the English word controlfreak in the Dutch language too... Some people think it's a negative word but it can become positive too it depends on the story and the way we use the word controlfreak... We the editors (B&T) feel that controlfreak in the media article on the Helmond web page is positive but that's our humble opinion... It says something about Gino Vannelli's perfectionism and hard work and that He wants to give the audience the BEST...
Trying to work on the Austerlitz web page, be patient please, stuff to read and to look at is coming up...

15 - 21 April 2008:
We have to work like crazy because we have nice, very nice pictures of Gino Vannelli and Bert van den Brink in Austerlitz and also of the un-known drummer and dancer and the well-known Thijs van Otterloo the saxophone player. Uropa featuring Gino Vannelli in Helmond and also Kim Hoorweg of course... Two Gino Vannelli concerts within 3 days is great for the human body but we have to process a lot of musical joy from 2 complete different concerts. We started the Helmond web page already but it's not ready yet, absolutely not! And we will start Austerlitz too so you can follow the building up of different web pages... Maybe this is confusing but there is no other way and we are such amateurs...
We still have things to do and we have still stuff to process for North Sea Jazz 2007, February 2008 Las Vegas, Atlantic City and West-Reading... Still need to work on Helmond 2008, Austerlitz 2008, Capelle aan den IJssel 2007 and many more... this is a lifetime hobby till we die and we LOVE it...

Had to start up a new birthday wishes web page for 2008 because we think we already received birthday wishes for Gino. Made links on all the birthday wishes web pages: 2008- 2007- 2006- 2005- 2004- 2003- 2002- 2001- 2000.

Worked on the pop-up window which you always can close by the little cross on the right top. People think our little pop-up window is annoying but they still read it and that's the meaning of it all. Thanks for all your support and sorry that we cannot keep up but one day you will get a reply on your e-mails if we received it because it seems that we do not receive all the e-mails people sent, our big apologies but that's beyond our control... sometimes spamfilters of the provider stop e-mails and we cannot see or read them...

Friday 4 April 2008 a new newspaper article on page 6 of the Gino Vannelli newspaper.

Gino Vannelli tour data and information web pages: made a new archives page for the year 2006 and work on the archives of 2008.
Updated the Gino Vannelli tour data and information web page by projects and by dates with new GINO VANNELLI concert dates.
26 March - 1 April 2008:
Finished the 14 December 2007 web page with new e-mails and a slide-show of 31 pictures. Check out the whole Gino Vannelli & the Metropole web page. We tried to translate the Dutch e-mails into English, when you see mistakes and feel the need to tell us, please e-mail us so we can change the mistakes into good English grammar.
Now we go on with the February 2008 web page in the USA. We already added pictures and e-mails but more will come in the next couple of days.
Changed the titles, links, pictures on the Vannelli/Borstlap web pages 1-9. We have now the VANNELLI/DUO-TRIO CONCERTS web pages... And we will go on with Vannelli/vandenBrink DUO-concert web pages and VANNELLI/COMBO web pages... More news will follow... On the Vannelli/duo-trio web page number 3 we changed the links to the Vara tv show: "De Wereld draait door". Because the old links did not work anymore and now they do again ... Made a new picture on the bottom of the Vannelli/DUO-TRIO concerts page 5. And on the Vannelli/Trio concert page number 8 we added an e-mail in the "reactions" department.
14 - 25 March 2008:
New e-mails, new pictures, new media, new links, new pre-fun and more... on the February 2008: web page and still more to come.
Worked in our Gino Vannelli guestbook Answerred all the open messages and added new pictures. There are 38 pages now with 10 messages each instead of 5... We pay now for this Gino Vannelli guestbook so no more advertising except for GINO VANNELLI of course (LOL!!!) and no more deleting of spam by Tripod people, because they deleted more than spam, they deleted 235 of our messages... Can you imagine??? Anyways we saved what we could save and worked on all the 38 pages.
Updated the tour data and information web pages on 16 March 2008. The one by projects and the one by dates.
The "THESE ARE THE DAYS" web page number 6 with all links to the cd stores and downloads of Gino Vannelli's music... We changed all the links to the 5 live performances at the Orange Lounge in Toronto, Canada. They deleted the videoclips but we found them again and you can still buy the soundtracks of these 5 live performances by Gino Vannelli and the Portland Band.

Made some small changes on the THESE ARE THE DAYS page 1, like links and new words and deleted words and pictures... You have to check out the whole page and the whole web site because we worked everywhere. Gino Vannelli working at His new album with new and "old" musicians and with new concerts coming up we have to work harder! The DUO concerts go on with Bert van den Brink an even more talented piano-player. YOU will be amazed and surprised!!! The Uropa concerts will happen again and a new Dutch band will be created. And the North Sea Jazz organization will probably invite Gino Vannelli again after last year's great happening!!! GREAT THINGS WILL HAPPEN IN 2008 BECAUSE OF THE GREAT and SUPERB MUSIC! GINO VANNELLI'S MUSIC!!! Yes we are back again!!!
Dutch Beat page 2 = The Knight of the Road web page. Added a new e-mail number 28 and a new entry which was e-mailed too late though. We cannot throw it away so we made it on the web page anyway.

These are the days page number 6: Added a message and deleted and changed the links to the videoclips of the Orange Lounge. But also found new links so we can still see the Orange Lounge videoclips. TRY IT!!!
Concert/performance lists: Added new dates and pictures everywhere but still many to follow. Page 1 =1970's - Page 2 = 80's and the 90's - Page 3 = 2000's and more...

26 January - 4 February 2008:
The Gino Vannelli newspaper page 6: Added 2 new articles, one dated Friday 1 February 2008 and one dated Sunday 3 February 2008.
Working on the 3 pages with the Gino Vannelli concerts/performances. Added new dates and pictures of posters and tickets. But not ready yet! We will go on......... Concert-lists number 1 and number 2 and number 3.
Added short story 221.
New e-mail on the SJU web page, see number 12.
Worked and still working on and in our Gino Vannelli guestbook Answerred a few new messages on page 1 of 37. Worked on page 37-36-35-34-33 and 32 tried to squeeze in some old messages which we found on old cd's and searched for all the lost pictures and added them again in between the old messages, what a mess.......... We found only 10 of the 235 old messages so far! Better 10 than nothing!!!

16 - 25 January 2008:
On the 16th of January 2008 we updated the Gino Vannelli tour data and information web pages again with a Gino Vannelli masterclass. See the web page in order of projects and see the page by dates.
Added on the bottom of the Paris web page a new picture.
Worked on and in our Gino Vannelli guestbook page 37 of 37 and also 36 of 37. When you fill in "GO TO PAGE 37 and hit GO" it will bring you first to page 2 but when you type 37 again and hit GO again it will bring you to page 37. It's still a mess but we try to add in lost messages again... We found old cd's with a few saved pages not all but from the 235 lost messages we found 10 back, it's bad we know, but better 10 than nothing!

15 January 2008:
Filled in the last bids and closed the 4 auctions and also closed the 4 auctions at the bids-list 2. E-mailed all winners with the details.
And read the Gino Vannelli newspaper page 6. 2 articles dated Tuesday 15 January 2008 including a videoclip!!!

An unique Paris poster because both musicians GINO VANNELLI and Michiel Borstlap signed this poster!!! There is only Monday left to bid.

Updated the tour data and information web pages again on 7 December 2007. One by projects and one by dates. Added the Gino Vannelli in Las Vegas advertisement everywhere. And worked in the 2007 archives of the tour data... We need to make an archives web page for the tour data for every year which has passed already. We do not delete nothing because people do research on our Gino Vannelli tour data web pages for their own work and we really, really need to work on the concerts-lists again.
Worked on The Knight of the Road" web page added a new e-mail (number 15) and 2 new entries numbers 8 and 9, we think it's worth while to look...

26 - 29 November 2007:
Pre-fun for Paris started already, still 4 days to go for the French fans...
Here in holland we are getting ready for Gino Vannelli and the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra and a young Kid called Lucas Jussen, 13 years old plays the piano while Gino Vannelli sings CANTO. Imagine this... Lucas Jussen started playing the piano when he was 5 years old and is a super talent! This concert is a benefit for autistic children and music plays a big part in their therapy at the Papageno foundation.
Worked on the Sweden web page, added pictures and e-mails... Also made links to Sweden on the Vannelli/Borstlap web page number 3 and a picture.
Updated the tour data and information web pages. One by projects and one by dates.
Worked on the New Orleans web page, added e-mails and pictures. The pictures are not of good quality but this is all we have at the moment. More is coming...

Translated more Dutch words into the English/American language, fun to do because we can really feel the joy people felt during that Saterdayevening at this very special concert... And we made big Gino pictures in between everything so scroll down the whole web page to see the new pictures we added... We have to make a third web page about this event because the newspaper in that area mailed us two complete newspapers, paper newspapers not digital! And in one of the newspapers is a nice article with big picture about Gino's work at the CM Conservatory Maastricht, so we scan the article and everything and try to get it on a web page and we also have to translate it for the Vannelli Family to read........ First newspaper article in the Gino Vannelli newspaper page 6 with picture... and started to make the 2007 North Sea Jazz web page and it is the 4th Vannelli/Borstlap web page at the same time. We connected this page but it is still under construction at least you can have a peek once in a while, lot of things to do and to translate, many pictures made by Ton & Isabel, Tom & Kerry and us... but we have a major computer disaster inside our "maincomputer" the hard-disk is destroyed from the letter Aa up to the letter Ee is still on the hard disk but from f to z everything is gone and guess what??? the "G" is gone and the "V" also... IMAGINE!!!??? We have a second back up computer to e-mail but this is a simple one with no connections to the camera's so you all have to be patient, sorry!!!
In the mean time you can still e-mail your Gino Vannelli/Michiel Borstlap experiences at the North Sea Jazz Festival 2007 in all kind of languages and in all kinds of lengths.

We tried to get the interview and the 3 live performances at the Orange Flagship Store in Rotterdam on our Orange web page. Read the notes first and try to look at the videoclips through the FLV player, we checked it on different computers and it worked. It's the only way we could make it... TRY IT!!! We tried to make your birthday wishes to Gino the same as in your e-mails with pictures and little images and even a big "word.doc" (See number 74) but we had to convert it into HTML so not everything is really the same as you e-mailed us but we did the best we could and can. THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!!
Tried to translate birthday wish number 46 from Dutch into English and made links to a special Gino Vannelli radio program which you can listen to for more than 58 minutes. Try it if you want we can hear this Gino Vannelli special through the real player.
We stop auction number 62 now and soon we will start new auctions 63+64+65...

Added on the Amersfoort web pages: Reactions, messages and e-mails in the folowing sections/parts: Houdini Horns - Poetry. And added the last 11 fans pictures in the slide show which contains 25 pictures now. You have to watch the whole slide show again to see all the pictures.

The Vannelli/Borstlap poetry part: Added many e-mails with comments and a kind of set list. Translated the Dutch e-mails or comments into the English language, at least tried to translate so more people on this planet can read it all. And again more pictures...

We are back home after a few short but intense vacations and try to get back to work on our Gino Vannelli web pages, so here we go with apologies for not answerring your e-mails but we did not find a computer and we do not have a laptop. You have to understand that we did not forget you and that we still will work on your e-mails and pictures. Thanks for your patience... In the meantime we try to create new web pages. We are still working on these web pages and adding much more messages, e-mails and pictures... So many pictures.

Gino Vannelli live at the ORANGE Flagship Store in Rotterdam, Holland. Here we will built a new Rotterdam web page but you have to be patient because a lot is going on... We have to edit the pictures and make a few slide shows... Thanks to all who already e-mailed their reactions and pictures... WOW!!! GREAT fan's pictures with Gino and Michiel and also beautiful pictures of the Houdini Horns.
Changed words and added new links and pictures on the World front page and on the home/index web page number 1. The pop-up window received new links too! Scroll down everywhere...

Have to run now and try to start with the editing of the hundreds and hundreds of pictures, don't know where to start. Have a peek when you have a minute here and here and we have to make slideshows on seperate web pages but we will connect those slide show web pages with the Amersfoort page and the Rotterdam page. People who were in the Chapel in Amersfoort last Sunday 13 May 2007 are the lucky ones for sure!
